this stool was sent to us by a friend. she discovered it in henan province in a village called li belonging to ping ding shan city. it used to be a seat for customers in a street kitchen restaurant and it was repaired in an old-fashioned chinese way, just with some wire. nowadays people tend to repair everything with tape.
another special thing is, that the legs at the point they fit into the seat are not rectangular but oval.
